Well, it has been a while! I though I'd better update before we leave for vacation as I'll have so much to blog about when we return.

Legoboy did so great on the swim team this year! His final times were 38.16 sec for freestyle, and 1 min 14.75 sec for backstroke. He worked so hard and has improved so much. I could not be prouder! We even went to our first awards banquet...Quite boring, with the exception being the 10 seconds Legoboy got his trophy!

Anakin Luke has been busy playing with his best buddy, Z. Not a morning goes by without a begging session of, "Please can Z come over now!!!!!"
He also has been busy planning is 4th birthday party. He has finally decided upon a Star Wars party at the pool. Great, how do I pull this off? I'm sure pics will tell the tale later.
We went to our ward's Pioneer Day celebration. Didn't pioneers have shades? I think he looks perfectly pioneery!

Principessa has been busy too! She FINALLY has the sitting up thing perfected! It has made such a difference for both of us. She is so much happier, as am I. I can actually put her down and do a task with two hands! Our home is much cleaner!

She has enjoyed her move to a big high chair, and being able to "help" feed herself. We finally tried wheat, in the form of puffs, and she LOVES them! It's great to have a snack that does not entail me having to sit down to nurse!

I just love the joy on his face here. He loves climbing, my little monkey boy!

Anakin Luke was so thrilled to find his beloved ninja hoodie. It had been hiding under his bed for awhile. I don't think he took it off for 2 1/2 days. Even after bath or swimming he put it right back on. Mommy finally had to pry it away for a quick washing. Who would ever think that a dollar store costume made of papery stuff would hold up with 2 boy's obsessive wear and tear?

Legoboy keeps improving his times each week at his swim meets. His freestyle time is now at 50.06 seconds and backstoke is 1:51. We are so proud of the progress he has made each week and of all of his hard work in the pool each morning. And Mommy is loving how white blonde his hair is getting!! Grandpa was here this week to cheer him on too!

Tatertot Kubitski made his highly anticipated appearance on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 3:41 p.m. He actually is no bigger than a tater tot weighing in at a tiny 5 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 3/4 inches long. He is no bigger than a second and sweet as the day is long.

Anakin Luke is thrilled to have a new cousin.

Anakin Luke At The Little Gym

Anakin Luke has been attending The Little Gym since his first birthday. He has loved every second of it. He is a master Donkey Kicker, Monkey Jumper, and Cheese Roller! He is a daredevil who loves to hang upside down and jump from the high bar. These pics are from what was probably his last Little Gym Show.

Legoboy at his first swim meet. He swam freestyle and backstroke. He was so excited and nervous, as were we. He won his heat in the freestyle, 1 min 14 sec and only hanging on the side 3 times!! He came in 5th out of 6 in the backstroke, taking a bit over 3 minutes to finish. Everyone was cheering the last two swimmers on as they swam their hardest. Legoboy was pretty much vertical the entire swim, but he never gave up. I am so proud of my swimming boy!

I am excited and nervous to actually begin a blog. I want this to be a place to share memories, thoughts, and other things with family and a few friends. I am horrible at journals and scrapbooks, but figure I usually have a few minutes each day while nursing our beautiful daughter to spend documenting our days. Wish me luck!
